Pirastro Chromcor Bass Strings are excellent value steel core strings designed to be easy to play and offer fast tuning stability. They are also wound with Chrome Steel giving them protection from finger perspiration and a longer life. This makes them a great choice for students and beginners who are looking for a good all round quality orchestral string. The sound is bright without harsh metallic sounds and the strings have a very quick reponse. These strings have been developed for Arco playing.

All strings in this set are with a steel core wound with Chrome Steel, in medium tension only.  Available in 2 sizes:  3/4 and 1/2. A Low B5 string is also available
