Warchal Brilliant Vintage Violin Strings have been created to bring together the extra punch of the standard Brilliant strings with a lower tension more suitable for older instruments. The tonal range is warm and focussed with wide dynamic control and Pianissimo is achieved with ease. The manufacturer states that these strings were intended for instruments 80 years old and over. One reason for this is the older instruments tend to speak more easily and may require a little less bow energy, that said many good modern instruments have been setup with these strings and delivered great results.
